🎶 Preparation Tips

  • Prepare two songs in different styles (judges may ask for a second song)
  • Bring your karaoke track on a USB
  • If using apps (Gaana, etc.), keep a backup on phone/iPad/USB (Wi-Fi not guaranteed)
  • Tracks must include rhythm (iTabla is okay)
  • Performance time: Max 3 minutes (or one mukhada & one antara) whichever is less
  • Hindi songs preferred (flexibility allowed)
  • Most important—relax and enjoy the experience!

  • I confirm that I am fully covered by medical insurance for any medical conditions, accidents, or emergencies that may arise during the event. I release Javanika Entertainment from any liability related to medical issues.
  • I understand that Javanika Entertainment will not be responsible for any expenses incurred due to participation, including travel, food, lodging, and insurance.
  • I agree to attend all rehearsals, promotional activities, and marketing events required if I advance in the competition, including the finals.
  • I acknowledge that Javanika Entertainment is not directly or indirectly responsible for the outcome of the competition. I will not hold Javanika Entertainment liable for any decisions made by judges.
  • I release Javanika Entertainment from any and all liabilities arising from my participation in the Voice of Bay Area 2026 competition.

FAQs and Rules
  • Age Group: Participant must be less than 16 years on May 31, 2023.
  • Parent/Guardian needs to accompany the kid at all times while attending The Competition.
  • The audition is a walk-in audition starting at 1 PM at ICC Milpitas.
  • The registration fee is 35 $.
  • Please prepare two songs of different styles (They can be Bollywood songs).
  • We prefer for Hindi Songs, but for auditions, any other language can work.
  • The participant can sing for 3 mins. Mukhada and Anatara or 3 mins, Whichever is lesser.
  • We need accompaniment for Taal. Good quality Karaoke is a great option, or an i-tabla can work. For Semifinals, Karaoke is a must.
  • Please bring the track on USB or your phone. No Live karaoke from online.
  • The stages of the competition are.
    • Audition
    • Semi-Finals
    • Finals
  • The finals will be with a live band.
